Turds....

From a friends sig line...

"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Just got back from the doctor. Not so great. He said it could just be normal post-op stuff, but something doesn't look right. It could be that my body is rejecting the implant, or that I'll need a total joint replacement, or that we'll have to fuse the bones. He wants a second opinion and is sending me to see the president of the Utah Podiatry Association. It's getting harder and harder to remain optimistic about it all. *cry*

As we all agreed to keep politics off the family blogger, there was nothing left to see.

So here's a picture of a cute bunny with a pancake on his head.

OK cybergeeks. Here's my question: Is there a simple way to set up a webcam outside where I can record activity around my drive/sheds/carts/etc. (and perhaps have it motion detected)? Flurry of thefts in our neighborhood lately and I've got some pretty neat stuff outside. Although most of them are chained up, a thief could easily circumvent my attempts.

Just wanted to give the family a head's up. Yes, my answering machine message is now Dale saying he and I are not in right now. No, Dale is not living with me.  Before I met Dale, I dated a guy named Jason. We dated casually for a few years. We broke it off when Dale and I started dating. Ever since then he has called every few months to "check my status", the longest he ever went without calling was about a year. It was always friendly but starting a couple years ago, he developed the habit of calling over a dozen times in a couple hours, sometimes leaving nice messages, sometimes not so nice. I have asked him not to call, which has not worked, and have resulted in screening my calls. I think he picked up on this because now when he calls the call comes through Private name/private number or Restricted. Since it has been a while, I let my guard down and today answered a call that came through as Restricted.  Yup, it was him. I got him off the phone quickly since I was at work. The somewhat easy solution would be to change my phone number but since he knows where I live, it doesn't really solve the problem. I'd rather fend off phone calls than have him show up at my door. I am hoping that hearing Dale's voice on my message will finally make him see that he stands NO CHANCE.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know.  Hope for me that he goes away soon and if you do ever call.....know I don't answer if your number is blocked.

I know times are rough and money is tight for everybody, but if you can help, even just a little, I'd really appreciate it. This man is one of my most favorite people. His situation is serious, much more serious even than he lets on in this blog. It really is life or death for him.

Thank you. I love you.

Tracey and I are getting as married as we're allowed to this afternoon. Just the two of us, some promises, and tattoos.

Love you all!

Graduated from physical therapy today (ran out of MediCare approved visits) and my final evaluation shows that I have either met or exceeded ALL my goals. Walked in there with a walker about 2 months ago and jogged to my car after my session today. Use of legs is 90% with the strength at about 75%. I can continue going to the facility for $3.00 per visit and can use any and all their equipment. That's my plan for now. Worked hard to get back up to speed and as soon as the rain stops, I'm going geocaching.

My new place.

As I said earlier, I've moved and my new place fits me perfectly. It's a 19th century single room schoolhouse thats been converted to a 1 bedroom cottage. It sits on a large ranch outside of Franktown (15 miles S of Denver). We are in a grove of Ponderosa's with a pasture behind the house. The house is pretty small, but we manage. Cut and paste these coords into google earth and you might see me peeing out back.

Pissing in the back yard.

I've just finished moving again. I have a small 1 bedroom cottage in Franktown. I broke it in as I always do....by pissing in the backyard. I'm not sure how or when it started, but it's been a tradition of mine as long as I can remember. It's not officially my home until the ritual is complete. I was once challenged with an upstairs apartment, but it fortunately had a small balcony.

It isn't just my house either. Odds are if I've been a guest at your house....I've pissed in your backyard. It's kinda hard to tell at Mom and Dads but it may have been their front yard. Mel...yup. Ron...numerous times. Tami...in numerous cities.

The world is my urinal.

I'm out on the road again next week for a string of jobs.

Fly to Charleston WV Friday afternoon then drive to Portsmouth Ohio for a day with Amber then drive to Toledo for a few days on an install. From there, drive to Buffalo and pick up a salesman and drive to Toronto for another install, fly home on Friday.

I have a layover in DC on the trip out so I'll pick up yall's stimulus checks while I'm in town.

Here's another reminder that we are all people, we are the same where it counts. We all love, we all hurt, we all fear, we all believe, we all matter.

This video makes me cry.
