Just wanted to give the family a head's up. Yes, my answering machine message is now Dale saying he and I are not in right now. No, Dale is not living with me.  Before I met Dale, I dated a guy named Jason. We dated casually for a few years. We broke it off when Dale and I started dating. Ever since then he has called every few months to "check my status", the longest he ever went without calling was about a year. It was always friendly but starting a couple years ago, he developed the habit of calling over a dozen times in a couple hours, sometimes leaving nice messages, sometimes not so nice. I have asked him not to call, which has not worked, and have resulted in screening my calls. I think he picked up on this because now when he calls the call comes through Private name/private number or Restricted. Since it has been a while, I let my guard down and today answered a call that came through as Restricted.  Yup, it was him. I got him off the phone quickly since I was at work. The somewhat easy solution would be to change my phone number but since he knows where I live, it doesn't really solve the problem. I'd rather fend off phone calls than have him show up at my door. I am hoping that hearing Dale's voice on my message will finally make him see that he stands NO CHANCE.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know.  Hope for me that he goes away soon and if you do ever call.....know I don't answer if your number is blocked.

P.S. http://www.corporatetravelsafety.com/Stalking.htm
Try to get it on recording of you asking him not to call anymore. A couple of these might prove stalking and harassment.

You really do need to move if he knows where you live. Hearing another man's voice could trip the psycho off the deep end. You know this.

No way am I moving! I love where I live. Usually once he confirms Dale and I are still together he leaves me alone for a few months. Dale has answered the phone before when he was in town and that got me about 6 months with no call. I am hoping that if he thinks Dale lives here he will finally give up.

If anyone is going to break his knees, I get to do it. haha Since Dale changed the message, I've had one unknown call with no message. Maybe it was him and he went away. Yay!
