Ok, so I've made the necessary phone calls, so here goes. After almost 10 years Cathy and I have decided to call it quits. We've both grown in different directions, and have found ourselves un-happy in the current situation. There's no fault or blame to be placed here, we both have our issues with ourselves and each other. She will be staying in the house we're renting, and I'll be moving again at the end of the month. With luck, we can do this and still remain friends. She's a good woman and I wish her nothing but the best in life. I'll get everyone my new address after I get moved and settled in.

So, the Boise police department says they won't care if I panhandle with my cello ... so long as I'm "not so bad that people complain". They really said that. Also, even if I play so horribly that people call the cops, all they say they'll do is ask me to stop.

So -- here's my plan. Busk and any money I get will pay towards my cello. Good idea, right? I guess I need to make sure Timmy (Ron's bud) doesn't mind if I use his cello to pay for my own. He's been letting me borrow his so I can play in the Acousticats with he and Ron. (also too much fun)
