So, the Boise police department says they won't care if I panhandle with my cello ... so long as I'm "not so bad that people complain". They really said that. Also, even if I play so horribly that people call the cops, all they say they'll do is ask me to stop.

So -- here's my plan. Busk and any money I get will pay towards my cello. Good idea, right? I guess I need to make sure Timmy (Ron's bud) doesn't mind if I use his cello to pay for my own. He's been letting me borrow his so I can play in the Acousticats with he and Ron. (also too much fun)

GREAT idea. Wish I could be there to drop something into your cello case. You gonna do it during the farmer's market or during the week?

I played after the market was over and made $20 :) Had TONS of fun, too. I'll do it again next Saturday.

I haven't recorded anything with the Acousticats yet. I'm still figuring out how to play without sheet music. I'm starting to get it though.
