man are we getting a one-two punch of a storm....first, way more snow than this area can handle...and now....freezing rain.....we've already got about a half inch of ice on everything......hope this isn't like the ice storm of 2003....we only had a half inch of ice then....and most of Scioto county was without power for nearly 2 weeks. Supposed to get more too......this freezing rain is supposed to keep up non-stop until 5 m and then back to more snow....I sure hope the power lines and trees can take it.
however...I know a little boy that had an awful lot of sledding today!!!

just an update everyone, I go in on the 11th for yet another ct scan to measure the growth on my thyroid. My doctors have agreed to give up on the ultrasounds as they seem to fluctuate depending on the tech...According to my last scan I was at 9.5 mm, 10 being the golden number required for biopsy. Let's hope I've made it to that mile mark so as to move on with treatment!!!

Surgery went well. Recovery is off to a sucky start, tho. Brian spent a good portion of yesterday on the phone with the doctor and between the two of them, they almost hauled me in to Urgent Care for fluids & pain meds. I wasn't able to keep anything down. Luckily, I think the worst is over. Mostly right now I'm just tired and in a lot of pain and compared to yesterday that is a wonderful improvement.

Ed's graduation is June 13th in Seattle. He'll be walking with his class :-) We plan on going - I'm so excited!

Ian will be graduating as soon as he finishes this Algebra course, probably early in March. We're going to have a little ceremony here for him when his diploma comes. Yay Ian!

Surgery #2 on my toe bright & early tomorrow morning. Should be home by lunch. Think happy ... and ignore any strange posts from me for the next few weeks. I cannot be held responsible for anything I post while on percocet.

Anyone know where Ray's at these days? The phone # I have isn't working. Alek seems to think he moved?

I'm a henna face!

Would anyone be interested in a reunion of sorts this summer. Daelan and I are planning a trip out west this summer, (prolly 2nd week in july) and I thought that maybe it might be nice if we could all meet up somewhere. Maybe even Mack's Inn.....should be thawed out by then. If anyone is interested I'd love to get some feedback.

I am not as young as I used to be. took me all day to recover from New Years.

Winter does it again.

It started yesterday shortly after midnight. I started panicking, I felt sick, madness ensues encapsulating hysteria, sweating, shaking, chills, restlessness, hopelessness,vomiting ect.

The panic attack lasted through the night and I am still teetering on the edge of it.

Just thought I should let you all know that I am terrified right now. I fear the spiral will start again now.
