Ok, all you geeks and geetettes. I need some explanation and advice about internet telephone service. Just exactly how does it work? Are there "delays" on the phone conversations similar to voice/video conversations on msn IM? Is it as good/better/worse than traditional telephone service? Pros and cons, please. Also, comparison between dsl and cable internet service.

Ray and I finally got to talk with Alana on Christmas day!!! Her mother called us and then handed the phone to Alana. That was the best present of all. She misses us and loves us and wants to see us. We told her that would probably happen this summer. She sounded very happy and she said Santa brought her a lot of toys! She even asked about the cats and I told her we have 2 parakeets and 2 new baby rats too. She said she can't wait to see them and that they have a dog in Virginia.

Oh yeah...I really like working at the animal hospital. Nothing grosses me out except for the smell from a dog with Parvo. I am even getting better at bagging the deceased animals that we save for cremation. That is a sad part of the job :(

Ray and I were married 9 years ago today! We can't believe it's been that long.
Ray is working and I have been going to the ER every 6 hours for IV antibiotics! What a way to spend our anniversary...
I was helping one of the new vet techs pill a cat on Monday morning and the cat bit me! So, I had to go see a doctor right away. They put me on Augmentin and pain pills. This morning I had a red streak from my right thumb to my elbow; so when I got to work....they told me to go to the ER. I hurt all over like I have the flu and my thumb throbs and hurts really bad. The nurse drew an outline of the red streak so they can tell if I'm getting better or worse.

Am I lucky or what? I sure hope next year is a boring one for me...
(btw...I still love my new job and cats!)
