I guess the next question is then...when can everyone make it in August? I thought you had a set time when in August the kids have to
go to Seattle. Sorry....anytime is good for Ron and I. We have no plans in August right now. And no kids to go to school next year!
They will all be graduated and on their own! :)

ou are forgiven

ok, maybe I was wrong to say that. sorry. At any rate, if I was in charge of it, it would probably not be well organized :p

I take exception to that Tami. We had a good reunion at Macks Inn once I seem to remember and one of us put it together.

and yes, you need to be in charge because with this lot it will never happen if one of us does it.

what do you mean you're waiting on me?? I'm waiting on you! Just tell me when in August and I'll see that Kirk schedules his visitation accordingly thankyouverymuch :p We're already making budgeting plans to be there :D

Saturday, August 30, 2003

Tami, did you like the blond joke? Sorry, had to send you it......Green side up!

So, did everyone hear that we would like to have a get together in Oxnard next Aug? I would be glad to be in charge if I need to. We are waiting for the exact time from Tami. It would be nice to see each other since it has been awhile when all the brothers and sisters have been together. Ron's Jeannette

Friday, August 29, 2003

hey, if you can dye your hair blue she can pierce her belly button, Le. Fair is fair y'know :p

Hey Ron, green side up!

Mel ... OW! *shaking head in consternation*

Cath ... agreed. Yay, Sherrif Arpaio!

Thursday, August 28, 2003

congrats Melissa. Make sure you take care of it! I let mine close up years ago :/ Maybe if I ever get skinny I'll have it re-done.

I saw this today while looking at the Foxnews.com website...
Friday, July 25, 2003

PHOENIX — It's so hot windshields are shattering or falling out, dogs are burning their paws on the pavement, and candles are melting indoors.

People who live in the Valley of the Sun don't usually sweat the summer heat. But this July is off the charts.
.............
The low temperature on July 15 was 96 degrees, a record for the date. The high on July 16 was 117, making it the hottest day so far this year.
.............
About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before. Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.

"It feels like you are in a furnace," said James Zanzo't, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 1/2 years. "It's inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, is not sympathetic. He said Wednesday that he told the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and the soldiers are living in tents and they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your mouths."
.....................................................

I like that sheriff! Amen and Amen!

Mel....congrats on the new hole. Ha!Ha! I couldn't help myself :)

I spend most of the day watching my 3 yr. old granddaughter, Alana and
she loves to watch PBS, Noggin, and Disney on cable and I end up switching
channels for her. (I'm her personal "mote"). The other day while flipping channels, I saw this girl riding her bike
up to a bunch of guys and the guys said.."Here comes MELISSA!!"
She rides up and says "It's MEL!!"

Anyways, I thought of you :)

I got my bellybutton pierced today. It hurt a little but not too bad. whoo hoo

serves you right :p

j/k hope you feel better soon.

I have a cold. wah!

Some cats are cool. My 2 babies are very sweet. Good for you George.

Saturday, August 23, 2003

he's only pretending to love the cat till it gets nice and plump.

Cat, the OTHER white meat!!

I don't believe you that George is in love with a cat. George is not a cat person. Some alien has abducted your husband and has replaced him with a cat lover. I'm sorry. I know how you will grieve :(

Friday, August 22, 2003

Thanks tammi :) I tryed but I wish we could take it off and put it back on when we move out... if ever we move, George realy likes the house and I do to except for the kitchen nice big bedrooms lots of room for the kids and all George's stuff he brings home from work to fix up lol
we miss you alll !! hoping to get to see you next summer in California when we get together !
have the kids started school Yet?
Did I tell you we have a cat ? yup George is in love with a cat lol

I'm thinking they didn't even WATCH the program LOL Or they are the kind of people who hang the tinsel on their christmas tree in big goopy clumps. Jeanette's done a good job covering it with knick-knacks though ;)

Thanks Cathy for the info...I wish that the people would have seen the whole episode Iam always picking straw up off the floor and talk about trying to clean the cob webs out of the corners I just wounder what she was thinking

Thursday, August 21, 2003

Jeanette....I've been kinda curious about those straw walls and
I did a little surfing on the net and figured out that the owners
of your house didn't see the whole episode about straw decorated walls
on HGTV!
Here's where you can see pictures of how the project for
Plaster and Straw walls is really done!!

Better Homes and Gardens has featured it too. They call it Rustic Wall Texture.
Their description:
"The textured walls are designed to simulate the feeling of a rustic farmhouse. Much of the texture arises from straw embedded in the finish, just as it might have been when European peasants built mud and straw walls for their cottages."

Thank God it was in a good way!

I may have mentioned that :p spoiled. in a good way.

Cath - nice Jeep! Has anybody mentioned the fact that you're spoiled? LOL! :-)

Straw. Wow. Ummm.

Kettle corn sucks!

Wednesday, August 20, 2003

Here are the pictures of the straw on my walls....YUCK!

Ummm....btw, the booster seat is for my granddaughter Alana. Not me!
Besides, in the Jeep, all I have to do is press a button and the gas pedal moves
closer to me. No longer do I have to ride with the steering wheel in my lap!

Ronnie....you can be the first one on your block to own a Segway HT!!
Amazon.com sells them for only $4,950.00 plus tax and shipping costs.
I saw it today when I was looking for booster seats for my Jeep.

I've been trying to figure out all the new buttons and doodads on my new Jeep--
I almost forgot to post this website that Ray put together showing some pictures of
it. Here it is.... Cathy's Jeep Grand Cherokee.

By the way....I loved kettle corn while we were at an event that sold it, but, hated it ever since the day
after when I got the stomach flu (or food poisoning) and now you can guess the rest of the story!

Tuesday, August 19, 2003

Kettle corn way sucks.

straw on the walls?? you got any pictures of that?

I've seen your walls LOL I think its hilarious the lease forbids you to do something about it :p Your house is way cute, though.

Tami the pictures are great the kitchen is looking wounderful :) you should see mine with straw on the walls yuck!!

I love kettle corn :)
Geoge on the other hand hates it

Monday, August 18, 2003

Kettle corn is yummy yummy!!

Kettle Corn ROCKS!!!!!!

Agreed. Kettle corn sucks!

kettle corn sucks

Sunday, August 17, 2003

Tuesday, August 12, 2003

we have some new pictures of the house up. I still have more to add and I need to make the pictures a bit smaller really. But check it out ... www.stilborn.org/photoalbum.htm

Monday, August 11, 2003

Sounds like fun, Mel.

Party was good. Had Stoli orange instead of margaritas, but made pitcher after pitcher of strawberry daquiris (virgin and drunk varieties) for the guests and kids. Even had little umbrellas ;) needed the umbrellas in the later evening with all the rain. Everyone had a good time and loved the kitchen and the rest of the house. My camera stuff unloaded itself from my computer, or at least the computer says I don't have a camera .... Richard has promised to fix it so I can upload all my pictures of the house and kitchen. All that is left to do in the kitchen, aside from my artsy fartsy mosaic and tin punch stuff, is the cabinet doors. Richard got all the drawers and drawer fronts finished just in time for the party. It really is looking great.

Sunday, August 10, 2003

No new guy, Le. Said I need a new one.

Saturday, August 09, 2003

A new guy? Details, please.

I just have to find a new guy to use them on. Oh, 'cept I 'm celebate for a while. Damn!
Have fun Tami. I'm having a stir-fry/asian food party tonight. The rules were bring an asian dish or an asian man. heh heh

I tried rebuilding a carb when I was drunk once. Lots of little screws.

Friday, August 08, 2003

Cause Drunk people should watch their carbs...

ok, my big house-warmin/pool party is tomorrow. Forecast says thunderstorms :( boo hoooooo!!!! BUT pregnant Sheila is coming and I can't wait to see her :D AND I found a sugarfree margarita recipe that is low-carb OKAY!!!! Did you know that hard liquor has no carbohydrates? did ya??? cool, huh! Not that I'm going on a 'liquid diet' or anything, but hey!

no, its actually that she has them in the first place that worries me

It's not that you have whips and chains that worries us, Melissa. it's that you still have them after 10 years! :)

Tuesday, August 05, 2003

heh heh..... for some reason I got them for gifts in my 20's. Got the leather cuffs for my 30th. Do I give off the wrong (or right) image? hee hee

I am asking Missy. I didn't know we had a perverted cousin.

I'm glad his heart is ok. *sigh* I get dizzies & tinglies, too. Neuroquack said I have "benign positional vertigo" and migraine. Drinking lots of water helps, for what that's worth.

Do you think Frank's recent ails could be related to the diabetes? How's he doing with that anyway? I've heard a lot of diabetics are very successful with the Atkins diet. I'm not diabetic, but I find I certainly just feel better since I went on it. No energy swings (insulin swings) ... just steady all day. Anyway, it might be worth looking into. It's not all that far off from a conscientous diabetic diet anyway.

1.. I was thinking about one of the status symbols of today -- those pagers that everyone has clipped on. I can't afford one, so I'm wearing my garage door opener.

2.. I was thinking that women should put pictures of missing husbands on beer cans!

3.. I was thinking about old age and decided that it is when you still have something on the ball but you are just too tired to bounce it.

4.. I thought about making a movie for folks my age and call it "Pumping Rust"

5.. I have gotten that dreaded furniture disease....that's when your chest is falling into your drawers!

6.. You know when people see a cat's litter box, they always say, "Oh,have you got a cat?" Just once I wanted to say, "No, it's for company!"

7.. I thought about how mothers feed their babies with little tiny spoons and forks so I wonder what Chinese mothers use. Perhaps toothpicks?

8.. Employment application blanks always ask who is to be notified in case of an emergency. I think you should write . . . A Good Doctor!

9.. Why do they put pictures of criminals up in the Post Office?

What are we supposed to do write these people?? Why not put their pictures on the postage stamps so the mailmen could look for them while they deliver the mail?

10.. I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older; then it dawned on me, they are cramming for their finals.

Hey DeeAnna,
Since Frank is back to square one, I guess the DR is going to try and figure out why the TIAs have been happening.
If you're interested on reading up about them, here's a pretty good place to start.
The Merck Manual--Stroke and Related Disorders

sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me.

Monday, August 04, 2003

Careful, Ray. I do own 3 whips already. Don't ask.

I lost another 1 1/2 pounds. Whoo hoo!! 27 to go!!

If you decide to be a lawyer it would be best to tell your folks you're a piano player in a brothel.

but then you could always be a submissive dominatrix (ducking and running)

Hi DeeAnna!! BIG MARLER WELCOME!! Hope Bill is doing okay. Let us know!!

Tami- this is another reason I have no kids. haha That and no man to have them with.

All- I plan to try the school thing again in January and get my Bachelor's degree. Any ideas on what I should be when I grow up? (keep in mind sitting still is not my strong point). So far it has been suggested a dominatrix. True I would be good at it but would that make my parents proud?? hmmmmmmm

Hi DeeAnna!! (((hugs))
LTNS=long time no see
There are a lot of abbreviations for sayings and spelling doesn't count! I hope that helps you :)

Anything yet? *wringing hands* What's the prognosis? Is he home? When does he get to come home? How'd it go? What did they find out?

Saturday, August 02, 2003

HI DEEANNA! *Big hugs*

George, check out this web addy. It's kinda funny. I got 2 for the state of Texas from the local gun shop when I was picking up a mag for my 1911.
http://www.one80limited.com/

Already sent the invite and she accepted and joined
Lets all give her a big Marler welcome!!

Hope all goes well with the cath. I imagine I'll be getting one soon enough.

Howdy DeeAnna ;) LTNS kiddo

I couldn't figure out how, either. Ronnie? Can you do it?

I either do not know how to invite someone to the blog or can't so could someone please send an invite to midnight7@cox.net. this is my great wife DeeAnna.
Thanks in advance.

Ah geez! Let us know - or have your lovely wife let us know - how things went the very second you get home. OK? In the mean time, take it easy this weekend - try not to stress/worry. We'll be praying for you, Cuz.

Friday, August 01, 2003

Hi all. I lost my invite to the blog so Ronnie resent it.
Just to keep all informed.
I was experiencing dizzy spells, vision loss, Shortness of breath, headaches and numbness in the face and neck on Wednesday. My doctor had me go to the ER to get checked out. I just got home from the hospital after several tests they have determined that I do not have enough blood getting to the lower half of my heart. Monday morning they will be doing a heart catheter to see if they can find a blockage and remove it if they do. My doctor says what I was experiencing on wednesday was most likely TIA's ( mini strokes). I am doing fine right now and will inform you of any developments on Monday or Tuesday or when I get back home.

Miserable doesn't even begin to describe it. They have been inhumanly cruel. But no more! At least for us. :-)

On the horizon? That depends on how the photog takes off. He's got a few irons in the fire with that & graphic arts. We'll be doing youth sports, weddings, reunion, events, etc as well as fine art photos & freelance graphic design. We're in the process (still) of redoing our website to make it more BUY OUR SERVICES friendly. And he's also going to go to school full-time now, so he should be done with that in 2 yrs & can move on to being an engineer.

And if none of that works, I'll always have my Broadway career to fall back on. LOL!

and Le, I don't think I've ever seen anybody seem so excited that their DH is unemployed. He must really have been miserable :/ Anything on the horizon? You could move here and make your mark on Broadway?

Server is down. Can't do my work. Won't let me go home. Cube mate has major attitude this week. Boss is an emotional wreck. Pity me.

Today is Brian's last day in hell. As of 5pm, he will be officially unemployed.

And Rachel auditioned for the director and music director of Wind in the Willows last night. They loved her! She will playing her clarinet for the play! I am so proud of her. This is her 1st city Arts Guild gig. She's not as impressed, but I don't think realizes completely that she should be. Ah, youth!
