My youngest performed in the school talent show last night. She had at least 20 meltdowns before we left the house, so it was touch-&-go for awhile there whether we'd actually make it. Anyway, she pulled herself together and we got there in the nick of time. She did really good. Her nerves did the get the better of her a little. She wasn't sure if it would be ok for her to take the mic out & move around, so all the rockin' she did in the living room stayed in the living room (kinda like Vegas). But she's very proud of herself ... and so are we.

This is the vid I shot with my little Fuji camera (it's not a DVR at all, but it worked surprisingly well for something designed to just take snapshots). She'd really like to read comments on the vid, but please don't use her name. I'm really uptight about the kids' personal info. In fact, I'm not even sure how long I'll leave the vid up there.
