As a lot of you know, I volunteer as an adoption counselor with RAIN to help find homes for cats & kittens.


For all of you who do know her or do not, Anneke is a true animal hero who has devoted herself to the animals of homeless in Sacramento. She has had so many wonderful things happen to her, but also many horrible things happen in her years helping the animals of Sacramento's homeless population. RAIN has taken kittens from Anneke when she has been in desperate need of help. Help her and her mission by voting for her as Animal Planet hero of the year. She has been through many challenges with the homeless pets and the homeless population--trying desperately to help their animals and keep them safe.
