Bummed. My Magellan merridian died today. Won't power up at all. Ratts.

That really bites. If it's truly dead, send it to magellan, they have a good record of service repairs...they usually just send out a new replacement unit. Then again...it's probably out of warranty.

If you end up getting a new gps, you may want to look at the new Explorist XL. It's got a nice big screen and unlimited memory via sd cards.
