Spam sucks

Especially on our blog. I've changed the blog settings so that only members of our blog can post comments.

This is like the 3rd or 4th time that some A-hole has posted a comment hawking some crap on the net.

I am really cool with the new settings. I really hate seeing spam on blogs, like this or in guestbooks.

Any idea how to remove them? I've got them on my blogs & the genealogy guest book. :-/

you cannot remove comments. You can however hide them, but I believe that hides ALL comments throughout your blog.

I noticed there's a thing called "word verification" for people to fill out when leaving a comment. Automated systems aren't able to fill out the word verification step. Evidently automated spam must be a big problem!
