The ticket was dismissed. I still have to get the confirmation in writing but the prosecutor told my lawyer he would drop the charges but wanted to wait to put it in writing until he broke it to the cops. Yippee!!

What ticket?
Ticket? What for this time?
The ticket was an inattentive driving citation. I was merging onto the highway by Poky airport, there was gravel on the road due to road construction. The guy behind me sped up, apparently got gravel damage & called the cops to have me pulled over quite a bit further up the road. I'd already taken the split toward Idaho Falls. Turns out the guy was an off duty highway patrol officer which is how he was able to have me pulled over and cited even though there were not on duty police officers around. (not exactly allowed) So --- basically I got pulled over for merging onto the highway. I ended up having to hire an attorney to represent me. He could not believe that I was cited at all. The prosecutor decided to dismiss all charges since according to my lawyer, there was no case at all.
If you ever need a lawyer in that area - this guy is great and funny!
