First physical therapy session on my foot today. Not as bad as I'd feared (unlike yesterday's cortisone injections which were MUCH WORSE - next time, Valium first). I even managed to pick up some marbles with my toes and do a little happy dance while sitting on the table because of it. Yes, it's the little things. I did get some strange looks from the other patients there when I'd whoop out a victory "YES!" with each little victory, but that's O.K. They're going to be seeing me three times a week for the next little while so they'd better get used to it.

Good luck with the P.T. and I know how the injections into the foot feel. NOT GOOD. Had it done for heel spurs once. Will put up with the spurs next time.
After seeing my real reaction to having needles jammed into my foot, my doctor wrote me a prescription for Valium to take prior to going in next time (at least 1 more time with the cortisone). He said I'd make a terrible junky.
