I'm getting a hemi!
I check in at the surgical center tomorrow at 9:30am. They will be replacing my right toe knuckle with a titatium hemi. This is an outpatient procedure and if all goes well I should be home tomorrow afternoon. No walking for a week, no showering for 2 weeks, and no driving for 2 months, but the ultimate goal is to wear shoes without crying (and be back in heels within a year). Send me some happy, healy thoughts & prayers.

Fingers are crossed as are toes, arms, lets, eyes. Don't know if you have noticed the difference but I often send happy thoughts of you. You are, and always will be one of my favorite transplanted "wop" shouldabeens.
Awww. Thanks! *teary* I do notice. You often pop into my mind for no reason & it always make me feel very happy.
I'm home, btw. We got home about 3pm. The surgery went well, but I am in a LOT of pain (percocet's not really touching it) but Brian got tired of me asking about the computer so he brought me down the laptop. How did I survive without one? :-)
(smiley face to you)...
