I spent last night in the ER. They wanted to admit me, but I have kids home waiting for Easter. They let me go about 1am, once they got my blood pressure and oxygen levels back up. The good news is, I will not be passing kidney stones. The bad news is, I have to see a urologist tomorrow to have 1 kidney BOULDER removed. This puppy is roughly the size of an m&m - 12mm x 6mm. They also found a 7mm cyst on my liver, but assure me it's benign.

My procedure is scheduled for tomorrow. It will be outpatient, but I will be unconscious for the whole event. And NO, I am not saving the rock to make it into any sort of jewelry. That's gross, Dad!

That's not gross.
Done all the time. I once knew a Rabbi who had a "pinkie ring" made from his son's "throw-away". Now, that's gross.

Doing great. The boulder disappeared, but they were able to put the stent in & straighten out the damaged left behind by the ugly lump of hardness.
