We need to decide what to do about meals at the reunion. We'll be eating in, but how will we manage it?

We can either elect someone to do the shopping and divvy up the bill, or we can each prepare to host a few meals for the group (in which case theres still shopping to be done). Either way is ok by me.

I'm not arriving til saturday evening, so unless you all want to be starvin when I get there, I can't do the shopping.

We could go shopping as a group since we all have varied tastes or health concerns and we could make a "chore" list for the cooking like they do for fireman???

Maybe sketch out some kind of menu beforehand??

Hey; I'm trying to toss out a few ideas here...quit laughing!

I like that idea - great start. I haven't checked with Carl yet to see if he has a BBQ or not. I'm sure he does.

I would vote for fish and veggies however my wife doesn't eat fish.
The shopping as a group would work I think. However I think the guys should be exempt from shopping and cooking. hehehe

I won't be there til saturday, but I reserve one of the main floor bedrooms for Amber and her family. If I'm the one making cooking/cleaning arrangements.... I'll need to know when you're all coming and when you're leaving.

In attendance from my branch of the tree will be Amber, Josh and Daelan Teeters, my Jeanette and myself (all from saturday til tues.)

I hate to be a party pooper but I think DeeAnna and I will prolly want to eat out for 3 reasons.
1. I am on a low carb low cholesterol diet so little or no starches.
2. DeeAnna does not eat dairy or fish .
3. WE try not to cook on our vacations.

First - you are not a party pooper; and, Second - For those who wish to eat out, there are a couple nice restaurants just down the road a piece. We'll just have to know who/when others will be eating out so we meals/menus can be planned.

As it looks like most everyone's showing up Saturday, and leaving Monday, we only need 1 more meal to plan. ( I only average 1 meal and a snack a day anyways)I'm figureing Hotdogs and Mac & cheese one night, and Bologna sammiches the other.

I talked to Bart today they do have a BBQ! Wasn't sure if we want to change Sunday to BBQ? GEorge? just a thought or maybe hotdogs for lunch. Anyway,
it is there and he also said about how many beds there are. Master (mom and dad) 2 rooms with each double and one room with double and also bunk beds. Thinking Amber with the little one in the room with bunk beds and double?? hide a bed couch on the main and trailer with some beds in back. Tami want to share the trailer or the room with the bunk beds?
