I just got home from the doctor - we reviewed my test results from 2 weeks ago. It's official ... once again, I have the world's healthiest blood. The doctor said he's never seen such perfect blood - not just in a person my age, but EVER. He said that just by looking at my test results you would never in a million years know that there is a history of diabetes or heart disease or anything in the family. Go figure!
He said my chest pains are most likely just from my GERD, which is improving by leaps & bounds thanks to prescription Prevacid, but that we are still going to do an IMT next week to check my arterial somethingorothers, just in case.
No idea why I'm so tired all the time, tho. And the dizzies are just my benign positional vertigo & I'll just have to keep getting used to it.
BUT, he's still confident this chronic daily headache I've had for 20+ years will go away within the next 2 months if I keep taking my norvasc. That will be amazing if it really happens.

" I hope you beat that too"...

Maybe you could beat it with your cane.

Watch that gerd very carefully. Can easily turn to Barrett's Disease with in turns malignant. Have you talked with a G.I. person? If not, I urge you to. I worry about gerd with your dad, too. Good luck, girl.
Unk

The GERD is a relatively new thing with me. I usually only get hearburn when I'm pregnant & since that is no longer an issue, getting hit with it was kind of a surprise. Anyway, yes, we are keeping an eye on it. That acid can really burn & the last thing I want is throat cancer. Not so good for the voice, y'know, and I do like singing.

Don't know if this is any help but a few years back for my chronic headaches my neurosurgeon had me start taking naproxen (prescription nuprin). It seemed that putting me on a lower dose of headache/migrane pills seemed to work better than the 'big boy' drugs I was on. I guess less was more. When I do get headaches now, it helps much better. Plus, it also works for muscle aches and my weird nerve, numbness thing.

So far as the gerd - yuck! I get the tummy stuff but it never quite makes it to my throat.
