Wear your seetbelts.
Jeannett and I avoided an accident today but the girl in the lane next to us wasn't so lucky. She hit the trailer of the truck that turned left in front of us at about 50mph.
Afraid of what I might see I ran to the car to see if there was anything I could do. She was pretty bloody had a big cut on her face and wrist. nothing was gushing so I held her hand and talked to her and kept her still till the cops came. I was pretty emotional afterwards. I hope she's ok.

Yikes! That is soooo scary. I hope she's ok, too. Brian lost his best friend just a couple years ago (it will be 2 years Sept 19) because she wasn't wearing her seatbelt.

Scarey! I'm glad you and Jeannette were ok and that it wasn't worse for the girl. Yikes!

Oh, that must have been terrifying!
I believe in seatbelts...my older sister probably would be alive if they had them in cars in 1957. She died after going through the windshield and landing on the pavement. (I was in the same car; in my Mom's arms. I was 16 months old. They didn't have carseats back then either!)
I'm glad you and Jeannette are okay and you stopped to help the girl out. I hope she is ok too.
