Ed got his learner's permit yesterday (Yikes I'm gettin old). He drove around the block today and didn't crash or anything. :) Actually, he did pretty good for his first time. We were barely out of the driveway when he had to navigate a bunch of 6 year olds on bikes. That was a little scarey LOL I'm going to call this week and get him into a driving school and he's going to help me with the driving when we go back to Poky. Richard is trading cars with me so I'll have the van, so the kids (and cats) will drive out with me rather than flying ahead. Ed will be going to Seattle from Idaho for the summer. He'll stay with Kirk, who can get him a summer job where he works, possibly continuing as a part-time job while he goes to school. Ed will be staying in dorms once school starts though, not with Kirk. The campus is quite a long way from where Kirk lives and Ed is looking forward to living on campus anyway.
