Tami - so good talking to you tonight. And again NO FAIR!!! Let everyone else guess that you won the lottery. oops! Guess I let that out of the bag.
My exciting night. I popped my knee out of place again so no working out. I am making up for it by doing bicep work. That wine glass is heavy. hee hee
I got a great new project at work. I am now responsible for writing procedures for a state we will begin writing insurance in. I seriously hope that it gives some sort of "importance" to my job. I am going to vent now........... My job is sooooooo boring!!!!! What the hell does it do for humanity????!!! I got a 3% raise, increased my retirement deduction by 2 1/2 % and my DAMN paycheck went down by $9!! For a job that makes people hate us!!!!!! Please lend some importance to the insurance field. PLEASE!!!!!!!
I need a dang vacation. thank goodness the puppy and kittens and turtles bring joy to my life. I did put aside my work today and did cross-stitch for 6 hours at work today. i just learned latchhook. that is fun too.
Tams ---- so much for saying I don't post much. hahahahhahahaha

Mel, is it a secret which state you're going to start writing policy in? or can I tell?
And look Mel, you wrote whole paragraphs... no bullet points ;) You're improving!
AND you think you're job is hated... I work for lawyers who work for insurance companies. As, i think it was George or might've been Ron who said... I am officially part of the problem ;)
It's still a secret.
I saw Constantine today. I liked it. Not too scary of a devil movie. Some of the devil monsters were scary looking. We went to California Cafe after the movie for lunch and a bloody mary. They make the absolute best bloody mary I've ever had. I am now iceing my ankle again. Gee, maybe shouldn't have walked around the mall for so long. Oh well.
It is raining again. I wish winter would end again.
I've got a good job, one that it is apparent every day that I make a difference in peoples lives. It's been this way for better than 2 decades now. Sometimes....many times...I wish for a job where it wouldn't really matter if I screwed up. A job where no ones waiting for me to finish so they can save a life, or diagnose an illness. One that if I'm not in the mood that day I could say..."screw it, I just don't feel like it today."
When I retire, I want to get a job selling nightcrawlers and sinkers.
Geo - I love you for your job! *kiss*
In my job I am part of the process that makes memory chips for your computer. I help make it possible to surf porn at faster speeds than ever before. But seriously, I guess when I look at the Karmic value of my job it is pretty benign I don’t get points either way.... Maybe I should volunteer.
Ron, you'd be interested to know that GE uses micron memory in their new 3d cardiac and brain imaging workstations. I smile every time I crack one open.
set Ron's_Karma_points = Ron's_karma_points + 1
