So, Richard Ed and I went to a college fair last night and out of the blue it hits me (really hits me) for the first time that Ed is going to be leaving home and going away to college in a year. So I'm stood there in the Raritan Expo Center, in front of some booth where Ed is asking questions and filling his bag with brochures (like he's some sort of friggin grown up or something), trying not to let anyone see that I'm crying. (In public, I'm crying, good Lord how pathetic am I?) How is it possible that he's leaving me so soon anyway. I swear to you it was last week he started kindergarten. My little Eddy.

Richard must think I've gone " 'round the bend" :/
