I made it through the "lumbar and cervical steroid epidural injections w/ fluoroscopy".
Thank God we have medical insurance. Each injection cost $3,363.69 ....that's not including the
doctor's, anesthesiologist's and whoever else's fees!!

My nerves and bladder were in overdrive! I made quite a few trips to the bathroom!
They said it was a good thing because I had to lay on my stomach on top of
a pillow...and it would be uncomfortable with a full bladder. Laying across a pillow
opens up the vertebrae. They put in an IV and gave me a dose of Verced to relax me.....suuurrrrre!
As they were starting the procedure...I asked "When do I get something to relax me?"
They had already given it to me....so, they gave me a little more and I got relaxed
and talked the nurse's head off; in recovery!! I felt like I had drunk a few Apple-tinis!!

My dogs are getting spayed right now, so they will have their own post-surgery instructions.
Of course....if I have to remember something--I put it on the fridge.
My nurse's instructions are already there...and I better not follow the wrong set of instructions!! LOL!
